- AW reserves the right to amend these T&C by posting a revised version on this website. Any alterations will be emailed to each client.
- In the event of any conflict between the current and previous versions of the T&C, then the current version will prevail unless stated otherwise.
- The clients website may be pulled from public viewing if these T&C are not followed.
- Upon suspension of a website for any reason, a holding page will be placed on the clients website with content deemed appropriate by Acorn Websites.
- Each client will receive an invoice for any payments made along with an invoice upon completion of their website giving a detailed breakdown of the time and money required to construct the website.
- Any contract between the client and Acorn Websites is on the understanding and full compliance with these T&C.
- Acorn Websites reserves the right to include a link to our website in the footer of every page of your website and a link to your website in our Welcome page.
- Each client must provide access to their web hosting directory to enable their website to be published.
- Hosting costs are the responsibility of the client.
- Any material supplied to Acorn Websites:
- should not be unlawful, threatening, abusive, malicious, defamatory, obscene, blasphemous or objectionable in any way.
- should not contain any computer viruses.
- should not constitute or encourage a criminal act.
- should not infringe any patent, trade mark, copyright, design right or any other intellectual property right.
- should conform to all standards laid down by the relevant advertising standards authorities.
- should not be in breach of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.
- Acorn Websites will ensure that the clients website will be as compatible as possible with the main, current browsers (Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3 and Safari 5). Some features may not however be available in all browsers.
- Acorn Websites doesn't guarantee 1st page search result placement, but will endeavour to get the clients website ranked as high as possible.
- Acorn Websites can't accept responsibility for any unauthorised alterations to the clients website after it has been published.
- The code for each clients website can't be modified or re-licensed by the client.
- Acorn Websites shall not be held responsible in any way for any of the following:
- any copyright infringement
- any misinformation resulting from information provided by the client
- any damage of any kind resulting from the use of, access to or inability to use any of the information contained in any website developed by Acorn Websites
- any damages to or viruses that may infect, a website visitors computer equipment, software, data or other property which results from having accessed, or downloaded any data from a website developed by Acorn Websites
- any content in any website which is linked to a website developed by Acorn Websites
- Payment for the site is split into 3 separate sections ( Deposit, Demo, Final Payment ) with the client only paying for each section as it is completed.
- Cancellation of your website can be made at any time.
